1 May – 26 Sep 2026From May to September there is a ship at Canada Place on most days and often two or three. Weekends carry more ships than midweek, and Tuesday is the lightest day of the week. Each ship day is a turnaround, so the crowd is heaviest between early morning and mid-afternoon.
BC Lions home games at BC Place

Bard on the Beach season in Vanier Park

- Canada Place After 15:00 The ships sail in the afternoon, so the waterfront is quieter at the end of the day.

- The three blocks around Canada Place: The cruise terminal, the convention centre and the seawall share the same few blocks.
- The steam clock at Water and Cambie: Coach groups stop at one corner of a narrow cobbled pavement.
- The Stanley Park seawall: One nine-kilometre path carries the walkers, the runners and the cyclists together.
- The Granville Island ferry landing: On a sunny weekend the ferry queue is longer than the visit to the market.
