The honest small print
We try hard to be right, and we show our working. But a forecast is a forecast — please read it as a guide, not a guarantee.
Our forecasts are estimates
Every crowd level on this site — Calm, Lively, Busy or Packed — is a prediction, worked out from public information such as seasonal patterns, published holidays, cruise-ship schedules and known events. It is our best honest read, up to a year ahead. It is not a measurement of a day that has not happened yet, and it can be wrong.
Event dates and details can change
Festivals, races and public holidays move. Organisers reschedule, cancel, or publish a date we could not yet confirm — and we mark those as expected rather than confirmed. Before you plan a trip around a specific event, check the organiser's own official page for the real date, times and any changes. Do not rely on a date here alone.
Check before you book
Please verify anything that matters — dates, opening hours, closures, travel conditions — with official sources before you spend money or make a booking. Our forecasts are one input to your decision, not the decision.
No liability
We provide this information in good faith and for general guidance only. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any loss, cost or disappointment arising from decisions made on the basis of the forecasts, event information or other content on this site. You use it at your own discretion.
Affiliate links
Some links to tours, tickets and activities are affiliate links: if you book through them we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes which days we call busy or what we recommend — the forecast is worked out before any product is shown. Full details are on our About page.
