Book a guided shore dive or snorkel early
Why it works. Bonaire's reef is entered straight from the shore, at yellow-stone dive sites along the leeward road. The crowd at a site is a pickup truck already parked there. The water is best in the morning, for light and calm. If a site has two trucks, the next yellow stone is 5 minutes on.
Do this. Book a guided shore dive or snorkel for the morning. If your site has two trucks, drive on to the next yellow stone. For Klein Bonaire, take the first water taxi out, with water and cover.

Waterfront after 15:00, Klein Bonaire on the first taxi
Why it works. On ship days the waterfront blocks are fullest from 10:00 to 15:00: one ship doubles the town, two overwhelm it, and by sunset it is a fishing village again. No Name beach on Klein Bonaire is fullest at excursion midday on cruise days. At Lac Bay the wind builds with the day.
Do this. Do your errands and ice cream on the waterfront after 15:00; the harborfront dinner tables face the sunset for free. Take the first water taxi to Klein Bonaire. Drive the salt south loop at golden hour, for the flamingos and the salt glow.
