Book the first departure to Stingray City
Stingray City is a sandbar you reach by boat. On cruise days the tour boats raft together at midday, from 11:00 to 14:00. The first departures and the small charters have the sandbar quiet. The rays are there all day; what changes is how many boats are with you.

Beach and reef in the morning, town after 15:00
On Seven Mile Beach the towels cluster at the public access points; the water is clearest in the morning. Morning boats have the best visibility on the reefs and the Kittiwake wreck. On multi-ship days the harbourfront's duty-free blocks and tender piers are full from 09:30 to 15:00.
Swim and snorkel in the morning; walk 5 minutes from any beach access point. When the fleet is out, snorkel Eden Rock from the shore by town. Shop after 15:00, when the tenders take the passengers back. Fort George and the national museum take minutes.
