Book the first jeep tour to the natural pool
The jeep convoys reach the natural pool in the wild north by mid-morning. Its ladder is busiest from 10:00 to 14:00. The trails of Arikok and the California Dunes are quiet at any hour.
Book the first departure of the day, or drive out early in a high-clearance car. Go to the pool first and walk the trails and dunes after.
Beaches in the morning, Oranjestad after 15:00
Palm Beach's rows of loungers are full by mid-morning; Eagle Beach has more room. Oranjestad's main street fills from the cruise pier in the morning. Baby Beach fills at midday, most of all on Sundays.
Swim in the morning, at Eagle Beach rather than Palm Beach. Take the catamaran on a morning sail. Save Oranjestad's shops and museum for after 15:00, and Baby Beach for a weekday morning.

Aruba's crowd keeps to Palm Beach's high-rise rows, the natural pool at convoy hours and Oranjestad on ship mornings. Eagle Beach, Arikok's trails and dunes, Mangel Halto and San Nicolas's mural blocks stay quiet.
Stay away from the high-rise rows of Palm Beach: near Eagle Beach, or in the south near San Nicolas. The Aruba page lists the quiet places and links to hotels near them.
Pack for Aruba's heat and early starts
