Although not one of Europe’s busiest cruise ports, Monte-Carlo or Monaco does see a substantial amount of cruise ship passengers during the busy summer months. July and August are the busiest months in terms of arriving cruise ships in the area. On top of this passengers arriving in Villefranche-sur-Mer also occasionally hop on cruise lines’ shore excursions to Monaco.
